Small Mouth Sounds
Play by Bess Wohl
THE STORY: In the overwhelming quiet of the woods, six runaways from city life embark on a silent retreat. As these strangers confront internal demons both profound and absurd, their vows of silence collide with the achingly human need to connect. Filled with awkward humor, this strange and compassionate new play asks how we address life’s biggest questions when words fail us.

Cruel Intentions: The ’90s Musical
8pm: August 13-14
Marie Maday Theatre on Canisius College’s Campus.
Scheming Manhattan socialites (and step-siblings, they hate to be reminded) Kathryn and Sebastian make a bet that has — you guessed it — very cruel intentions. But, we won’t lie, we’re interested to see how it all turns out. As they toy with new student Cecile, and good girl Annette, plots spiral and — our favorite — drama ensues on all fronts, all soundtracked by Britney Spears and NSYNC. Please, try not to sing along.
“Cruel Intentions: The 90s Musical” is presented by special arrangement with Broadway Licensing.
